A Year of Anointed Expansion

In 2003, we began with tears—watching churches and families suffer under the weight of abuse, with far more need than clinical care alone could meet. So we cried out to God, and He gave us a Christ-centered model communities could use to help themselves heal. We planted the first seed, and it flourished, spreading naturally through homes, churches, schools, and everyday relationships.

In 2007, God called us to the Democratic Republic of Congo. Among survivors of unspeakable violence, we learned a truth that still shapes this ministry: the Kingdom of God is often hidden in the wound. If you want to find it, go to the suffering ones.

What began as a small grassroots effort in one U.S. city has become a global movement. This past year alone, MTS trained over 150,000 leaders in 30 countries and brought Christ-centered trauma care to over 600,000 vulnerable people worldwide.

Our 2025-2026 Annual Report celebrates God's faithfulness—and the leaders, partners, and advocates who carried this mission forward with courage and compassion. Together we've prayed, served, and invested, and you share in the harvest. God's kingdom is advancing through Mending the Soul, and we believe this coming year will bring an even greater one.
